Leo and Muneca, together, forever.

Torn apart by a circus in South America, rescued, and reunited in Africa. Help build homes for the lions and care for them for life.

LEO, MUNECA AND THEIR DAUGHTERS, KIARA AND AFRICA, HAVE BEEN REUNITED! HELP BUILD THEIR PARADISE IN THE BUSH.

Leo was rescued by ADI on the first day of the operation to enforce Peru’s ban on wild animals in circuses. But the circus blocked the rescue of lionesses Muneca, Kiara and Africa, and disappeared before a court could decide on their fate. ADI never gave up on them and eight months later tracked down the circus over 600 miles away, in a remote region near the border with Ecuador. Leo’s family was saved. We brought them home to Emoya in South Africa and now they are back together again.

Please donate now for this family’s forever home – a huge natural bush enclosure with solar powered electric fences and waterholes.
